Our Mission
To promote and protect the tribal energy interests of tribal nations, tribal energy businesses, and their partnerships.
Our Story

On December 12th, 2017, a small group of Tribal Energy professionals and leaders identified the need for a national intertribal energy trade association to advance the energy policy, funding, and business issues facing Indian Country. To understand the complex markets, trends, technology, and business developments within the U.S. energy economy, this core of tribal leaders seized the opportunity to redefine the framework for tribal energy planning, development, and operations nationally. These leaders prioritized the need for successful partnerships between energy industries, tribal energy businesses, and tribal energy stakeholders to develop tribal energy projects and negotiate complex energy markets and issues for Indian Country’s benefit.
